The Offshore Optics 6 way fibre optic loopback connector is a  simple passive loop-back connector which can carry out a full test of the ESD circuits by looping back the ESD Normal or ESD Trip signal. It provides jetty system loopback at the optical level for equipment and cable test prior to connection to a compatible ship system. The connector consists of a 316 grade stainless steel body, containing internal optical loops and has a brass blind cap. The cap is retained on to the connector by a stainless steel wire strap and the unit is supplied in a rugged equipment case.
